Back To Work Blues

I always try not to moan about having to work on a Monday morning. It’s no different from any other day really. Everyone else seems to moan about it and I’ve noticed a lot of people (on Twitter mainly) who are making a big fuss about having to go back to work today, their first shift after Christmas…

Well cry me a fucking river. Oh you have had 2 weeks off work and now you’ve got to go back. I work in retail and have been back to work since the 28th December (some of my collegues since the 26th no less).

Just count yourself lucky that you’ve been able to have that time off that other people (like me) haven’t been able to have off. (Rant over…)

Christmas time is so very nearly upon us but do you think it has gotten too commercial? In this fine, kind of festive themed episode of Radio Rabies Andrew and Carl discuss why they think it hasn’t.

The next episode of the show will be more Christmas based and will be available on Boxing Day (that’s the 26th December, you Americans!)
