When I’m at work I like to keep up with the latest news and today I read that the world’s oldest sheep “Lucky” has died of heat at the age of 23 (and 7 months) in Australia.

Now I have never heard of Lucky the Sheep but it made me feel a bit sad for some reason. A 23 year old sheep is pretty good going. Think about it, that sheep is older than Miley Cyrus, the entire cast of Hollyoaks and Cher’s nose.I was 2 years old when that sheep was born.

It’s weird how I felt a bit of sadness when some random arse sheep has died but when some celebrity dies I couldn’t care less. I think it may be because it’s an innocent critter. Well at least I think so, I’ve not yet read it’s rushed to the shops biography where I’ll discover that it used to lock it’s owner in a shed and pelted them with apples and rocks. But I highly doubt that.

I fully expect a tribute film and merchandise very soon…
