In this episode I talk about the Internet hitting the big 40, the death of Geocities (R.I.P.), that stupid “Up your Viva” advert and Warner Brothers making some woman change her Harry potter Nights to Generic Wizard Night. Those swines. I also talk about us getting to see Gary Glitter (in a drama) get executed.

Not a bad episode if I do say so myself. One take Carl is what they call me!

In a very packed episode I discuss the Daily Mail’s she-heathen Jan Moir, Balloon Boy, Jimmy Carr getting away with another motoring incident and Pamela Anderson being in a Panto. Really quite a packed show. Sorry if the audio is terrible, I was battling an over production of saliva. Too much information? I thought so! This episode may or may not have been recorded yesterday. If something uber important and new has happened and I failed to mention it, that might be a clue!

What a packed episode. I discuss the prospect that being a cheating bastard could be genetic, the fact that the average American spends 68 hours online a month and how Channel 4 could actually potentially be racist. As well how some crazy nutjob fan can buy their final resting place next to Marilyn Monroe, Leona Lewis getting slapped and Derek Acorah trying to contact Michael Jackson live on TV. And here are the songs I mentioned in the show. They are exactly the same song and that I was right when I described the song as “a bad b-side from his album Thriller” since it was written in 1984 a couple of years after the album was made… Close enough!

The Late Stephen Gately

In the light of the sad news about Stephen Gately mysterious passing, I decide to explore the trend of “Bad Taste Celebrity Jokes”. As when any celebrity dies there are always a bunch of people trying their hardest to shock people and make them laugh at the same time. Here I try and de construct and find a formula for these jokes. (Thanks to Sickipedia for some material)

Another piss poor attempt at becoming a podcaster. Oh well, there’s always episode 10 and if that fails I’m not sure what the Hell I’m going to do. Anyway in this episode I talk about my lack of ability to enjoy Google Wave, the late Heath Ledger’s new film and how Hollyoaks have struck a nerve with a story about a suicide. All in a days work for Radio Rabies. It could be worse, I could be working for the BBC or David Cameron’s wanking hand. (Sorry to lower the tone, I’m in a saucy mood)

What an interesting couple of days it has been, luckily for me and my possible twice a week podcast! Lots of great information leaked to the public as well as the BBC causing more trouble with what their employees say. It serves them right for taking our license fees. They owe us, when they mess up, we want blood. Channel 5 wouldn’t treat us like this… Lets all just watch channel 5 from now on. It’ll be easier on our mental states.

Also I briefly talk about Amy Winehouse, Strictly Come Dancing, VERY briefly about the X Factor and of course the wonders of the Turner Prize! If you hate me for just covering stuff from my blog, I’m sorry, I’m still testing out the best form of attack for this site. If you hate me, let me know!

It appears that the BBC is going to be playing it safe from now on to try and win over the moronic viewers who complain about the Beebs output. It has been a very rocky road for the BBC this year what with Andrew Sachs answering machine and the phone-in scandals etc. Everyone has been up-in-arms in an explosion of buzzwords and solidarity of sheep proportions. So how are the BBC going to combat anything further happening? They’re going to move the watershed to 10pm. Well not officially but they going to stop using swearwords between 9pm and 10pm unless absolutely necessary, effectively moving it. They’re also going to be keeping an eye on things that are moving from BBC Three and BBC Two to BBC One to maintain that their audience, a bunch of slack jawed close to death Daily Mail readers (delete as appropriate) don’t get offended in their lovely houses in Tunbridge Wells.

That’s all well and good but then as the BBC puts out one fire, another one starts, this time with Strictly Come Dancing. Apparently the dancer Anton Du Beke called his partner Laila Rouass (off camera I’d like to hastily add) a “Paki” and a “Terrorist” after she had gotten a fake tan. Now out of context it seems like he was being malicious and a flaming racist. But as we have no evidence of him doing so we won’t know how it was said. Strangely though the BBC are actually standing by him which is strange for them. They’re always a bit too keen to make examples of it’s employees (all except the ones with the ludicrous expenses) One important thing to think about though is who actually went to the papers about this? Probably some snide little right winger. And it’s probably at this point that I will be thought of as a racist or whatever for not agreeing with the general consensus. This whole Anton Du Beke “scandal” is just another great way for political correctness to have another scapegoat. Well fuck political correctness. I hope it dies in some gutter somewhere.

Just in case you’ve not been checking the site out all week or if you just plain can’t read, I more or less just sum up what’s been going on with the site. I cover Michael Jackson yet again, how easy it is to get arrested by not actually dressing up like a policeman as well as the failed tour of Kanye West and Lady Gaga. I should be making another episode on Wednesday, we should all punch the air to celebrate!
